Pete Broberg continued his hot start to the season, hurling a 1-hitter against the tough Milwaukee lineup that has been an early frontrunner in the AL West. He walked to and struck out six en route to his third win of the season against 1 loss.
And RBI single by Mike Epstein in the sixth and a two-run home run from Toby Harrah in the 8th supplied the offense.
Jim Slaton scattered 10 hits and 3 runs over 8.2 innings and took the loss. George Scott had the lone Brewers hit.
