 May 6, 1973 - Baker's 2 homers loft Braves over Philly!

Dusty Baker smacked two home runs, drove in four runs, and stole a base as the Atlanta Braves eased past the Phillies 7 to 3. Atlanta's 5-run first inning gave Gary Gentry plenty of breathing room, but Gentry lost control of the game in the 5th inning and handed it off to the bullpen.

Tom House pitched two innings for the relief win, while Phil Niekro and Tom Kelley closed out the brotherly batters.

Larry Christensen couldn't escape the first inning and fell to 1-3 as his ERA ballooned to a tragic 6.95.
