 May 5, 1973 - Brew-crew plates 5 to walk it off in the 9th!

The Brewers scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 9th to take an important early season game from the Royals in dramatic fashion.

Pedro Garcia reached on an error on Rojas to start the trouble, and six straight bas hits would follow, including a 2-run double by George Scott, a game tying single by Johnny Briggs, and a walkoff base knock by Ollie Brown as Milwaukee triumphs 8 to 7!

Gene Garber takes the loss, though it was Tom Burgmeier who gave up both the tying and winning hits.

Ray Newman was the beneficiary of the rally, accepting the win after two innings of one-hit ball.
