May 4, 1973 - Marty Pattin shuts down Twins bats, Boston brings the lumber out!

The boxscore tells it all, as this one was never close. Marty Pattin threw free and easy behind a 10 run lead by the middle of the fourth, and nothing fell in for Minnesota's vaunted lineup as the Red Sox roll 12-1.
Rico Petrocelli had 4 hits, which was one less than Pattin allowed the entire Twins lineup. Boston hopes this is the turning point in what has been an awful early season slump.
