Life has other plans

I had planned on spending the day banging out some games yesterday, but life had other plans.

I spent the day at the ER with my wife. She was having some severe pain in her lower abdomen and a trip to urgent care yielded a recommendation that we go to the ER to rule out appendicitis. Fortunately, they were able to rule it out and provide some relief. The whole process took all of the day and evening, but at least the ER room had a TV, so we were able to watch the World Series.

The Dodgers are tough. Last night was the first time I saw Yamamoto pitch, and he's every bit as good as advertised. I hope my Yankees get their act together and play well at home, but right now the Dodgers look like world beaters.

Anyway, I started a game of my 1973 replay before I left, and finished it before bed (had an inning left when we decided a trip to the urgent care was required). Results below.
